celebrating...

peace, people, planet

Once again Red Deer will be part of this Global Festival for Peace that unites people around the world who are working toward a future of hope.

On September 13, 2008 more than half a million people worldwide will gather in 350 locations in 60 countries at exactly the same time for a celebration of peace.

Attention musicians, dancers, poets, comics, juggler, thespians and other performers!

Come and share your talents at Earthdance, the Global Festival for Peace, on Saturday, September 13 in downtown Red Deer.

All performers are invited to join us for an Open Mic event that runs from 1:00 to 3:45pm at The HUB, 4936 Ross Street.

Dancers from diverse cultures and styles are invited to participate in a multicultural interpretive dance in City Hall Park following the Global Prayer for Peace at 5.00pm.

If you are interested in being involved with the Open Mic, please contact Theresa at 403.309.4757

To get involved with the dance, please contact Cheryl at 403.342.4642
